Despite the irony of its title, A Quiet Place sure is making a lot of noise at the domestic box office. The horror-thriller, which marks the directorial debut of John Krasinski, who co-stars in the film opposite Emily Blunt, earned $22 million from 3,808 over the weekend, moving it back up to the No. 1 spot at the box office.
Meanwhile, the latest Dwayne Johnson-vehicle, Rampage, inspired by the old video game series of the same name, wasn’t too far off with $21 million from 4,115 theaters, bringing its domestic total to $66.6 million. Although it was able to top the box office chart last weekend, the arrival of Avengers: Infinity War this weekend will prevent it from being able to do so again this weekend.

Surprisingly enough, I Feel Pretty, the Amy Schumer-led comedy which also stars Michelle Williams, Emily Ratajkowski, Aidy Bryant, Rory Scovel, and Busy Phillips, picked up a decent $16.2 million despite receiving some not-so-pretty reviews from critics and a 34% approval rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
So far this year, Black Panther and A Quiet Place are the two biggest movies in terms of domestic grosses with $681 million and $132 million respectively, and it should be interesting to see whether or not Infinity War will be strong enough to push Black Panther aside to claim the No. 1 spot as the highest-grossing movie of the year.
