The glowing first reactions to ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ praise Taika Waititi’s new installment in the MCU

Full reviews for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will hit the web next Thursday.

Following last night’s press screening in Los Angeles, the first reactions to Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok have hit social media and they seem to reap nothing but praise for the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, and Mark Ruffalo.

Thor: Ragnarok follows the Norse God of thunder and lightning as he is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty, signature hammer Mjölnir, and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop the destruction of his homeworld at the hands of Hela—but not before having to endure a deadly gladiatorial match with his fellow Avenger, the Incredible Hulk.

With Thor: Ragnarok set to hit theaters on November 3, the review embargo for the film will lift about two weeks prior on October 19. In the meantime, check out the first social media reactions below:
