Oscars has a single host again this year. According to The Hollywood ReporterJimmy Kimmel will host the 95th Academy Awards Ceremony. The ceremony is set for March 12, 2023.

Kimmel joins a growing star-studded list for this year’s Oscar Awards, which also includes producers Glenn Weiss (producer) and Ricky Kirshner (producer). The duo stated that Kimmel was a part of a star-studded lineup for this year’s Oscar Awards. “We’re super thrilled to have Jimmy score his hat trick on this global stage. We know he will be funny and ready for anything!”Kimmel hosted the Oscars in 2017-2018. After Kimmel hosted the Oscars in 2017 and 2018.

In the last few years, the Oscars have suffered from declining ratings and disinterested film lovers and critics, particularly on social networks. Some viewers were unsure about the pomp and circumstance of this award show and wondered if it was worth the hype among casual movie lovers.

Will Smith was the star of the 2022 Oscars. Smith took the stage and slapped Chris Rock, in earnest revenge for a joke that he made about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith has been banned from the Oscars so there’s no chance of him being convicted again.

According to reports, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences considered these controversies and received input from critics and viewers in order for them to create a better show. Janet Yang and Bill Kramer, the Academy’s new CEO, made jokes about their plans during a September Academy meeting.

“From our recent member survey, we learned from our Academy members that they did not love the 94th Oscars,”According to a report from, Kramer claimed that THR. Kramer continued, causing laughter from the others present. “It had a 20 percent positivity rating from Academy members, compared to 61 percent for the 92nd; only 2 percent liked the Fan Favorite; only 17 percent approved of the pre-recorded awards; and fewer Academy members are watching the full show – 67 percent for the 92nd, 59 percent for the 94th.”

Kramer and Yang now have a joint statement outlining how Kimmel’s hiring will restore the Oscars. They said: “Jimmy is the perfect host to help us recognize the incredible artists and films of our 95th Oscars. His love of movies, live TV expertise and ability to connect with our global audiences will create an unforgettable experience for our millions of viewers worldwide. With Kimmel, Weiss and Kirshner’s fresh perspective and masterful guidance, the Oscars will celebrate its rich 95-year history, the collaborative nature of moviemaking and our diverse, dynamic and deeply creative community of filmmakers.”
