Three people are dead and six others are injured after a school shooting at Michigan’s Oxford High School, authorities said. Those dead are believed to be students, and at least one of those shot is believed to be a teacher at the school, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say that the suspect is a 15-year old student at Oxford High School and has voluntarily surrendered. He is now being held in custody. “At this point, we believe he acted alone,”Statement by Michael McCabe, the Undersheriff.

The identities and the motives of the victims and suspects have not been revealed.

On the scene were found a semi-automatic pistol and several clips.

Authorities say they do not know the suspect’s motive in the shooting.

According to authorities, they received 911 calls about the school shooting around 12:51 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and responded to more than 100 911 calls.

The school was put on lockdown after the shooting. Students continued to shelter in their classrooms as officers searched for more victims. WZZM reported.
