A girl who started her own business at FOUR becomes a multimillionaire when she was 11 years old.

Mikaila Ulmer, four years old, was given a poor cookbook by her great grandmother. She began making lemonade from scratch after being handed it. By the time she was 11, Whole Foods paid $11million (£9m) to stock her drink

A teenager girl has shared how her lemonade business, which she started when she was just four years old, turned out to be a multimillion-dollar business.

Mikaila Ulmer started making her drinks after she received an old cookbook from her great grandmother.

The Texas teenager, aged 17, had already earned $11million by her 12th birthday. Her company has grown steadily since then.

She found a 1940s recipe to make flaxseed lemonade and began to experiment with it.

She secured a mega money deal from Whole Foods back in 2016 to sell her Me & the Bees Lemonade and even before she turns 18 her product was stocked in 1,500 stores across America.

The young entrepreneur isn’t content with just drinking. She has her own line lip balms, and her own book. All this while still studying at school.

She stated that she donates 10 percent of the proceeds from each sale to bee rescue foundations.

After appearing on Shark Tank America’s equivalent to Dragon’s Den, Mikaila received some crucial investment to help take the company to new heights.

She states on her website: “I decided to give her beloved lemonade a new twist by adding honey from bees, instead of only sugar.

“That’s how Be Sweet Lemonade was born!

“However, we had to change the name due to a copyright issue so we decided to call it Me & the Bees Lemonade because we give a percentage of sales to help save the bees.

“We are now celebrating more than 10 years in ‘buzzness!’”

It was bottled up by the girl when a local pizza place asked if they could stock it.

Last year, she shared important advice for anyone trying to launch a business.

“I don’t think that there’s a limit or any particular guidelines on who can become an entrepreneur who can start a company,” Mikaila told Marketplace.

“The perception is that there’s a certain race or gender or age that you need to be if you want to make it big, or be successful, or grow your company.”

She went on: “Passionate about your idea is key to your ability to keep going with the hard work required to grow a business. And believe me, there’s a lot of work ahead of you when you start a business.”
