The rapper was released on April 20 from Los Angeles police custody after he posted bail. His bail was set at $550,000 per E! News.

A$AP was detained at the airport on April 20 after he exited his private plane with Rihanna—who is pregnant with their first child—as the pair were returning from a trip to Barbados.
According to NBC NewsA$AP was arrested in connection to a November 2021 California shooting. The Los Angeles Police Department assisted the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations Team in his arrest.
