Adele was’reduced by tears’ at her London concert this weekend as she celebrated her musical comeback.

The 33-year-old star singer wept during her performance at the London Palladium as part of an exclusive invite-only event. This was her first UK performance since a series of Wembley performances that she performed in June 2017.

The event was recorded and will air on ITV on 21 November for an episode called An Audience With Adele. It will be broadcast two days after Adele’s highly anticipated fourth album 30.

The singer of Someone Like You, who admitted to having stage fright in the past told the crowd: “I’m sh***ing it! I’m so nervous!”

To prevent any leakage of new tunes, all mobile phones were confiscated prior to the event.

Adele also drank honey tea throughout the program to protect her vocal chords, which have previously been operated on.
