Lady Gaga is back after being forced to postpone her world tour for two years because of the pandemic.
However, it is now reported that the suspect in her case of dognapping is on the run.
Ryan Fischer was nearly killed last year when he tried to protect Gaga’s French Bulldogs from armed thieves.
Police say that the man charged in the shooting of Fischer is now evading capture. This comes more than three years after Fischer was released by mistake from jail following an April paperwork error.
“She let me know that there had been a clerical error, and that he had been released. That was definitely a shock,” Fischer said.
U.S. U.S. Marshals offer a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of James Howard Jackson. He is 19 and is considered dangerously armed. He has a tattoo on his neck with flames and dice.
Fischer said that he was suffering from PTSD following being shot. He travels the country in an RV and volunteers at shelters for dogs as part of his therapy.
The man accused of trying his murder is on the run, adding to the stress.
“I do have apprehension of returning [to Los Angeles],” Fischer said.
All five suspects pleaded not guilty.
