Amy Schumer reveals her joke about Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust Shooting’ that was cut from the Oscars


Amy Schumer shared some jokes that weren’t allowed on stage at the 2022 Oscars. She was reflecting on Will Smith slapping Chris Rock for a joke that compared Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved heads to G.I. Jane And the subsequent fallout. Reports state that the comedian was also a host at Saturday’s 94th Academy Awards. He then attacked Alec Baldwin’s on-set shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer, during a Las Vegas stand-up set. Variety.

“It was just a f-king bummer. All I can say is that it was really sad, and I think it says so much about toxic masculinity,”Schumer added, “The slap” “I want to preface these Oscar jokes by saying that my lawyer said not to say these. Don’t tell anybody and don’t get mad at me.”The Life & Beth star continued with the rejected material. “Don’t Look Up is the name of a movie? More like don’t look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun.”She continued, “I wasn’t allowed to say any of that, but you can just come up and [slap] someone.” 

Baldwin is involved in a wrongful-death lawsuit brought by Hutchins’ relatives. This follows Baldwin’s mistakenly-loaded shot while filming western film. RustJoel Souza was also injured and killed by the bullet. Baldwin denies firing the gun, and he also denies responsibility to ensure that the weapon is not loaded prior to using it in a scene.

Smith, however, was forced to leave the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He apologized to Rock for his inappropriate behavior on stage, and slapped him across the face.  “My actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful, and inexcusable,”The King RichardFriday’s statement by star “The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home.
