Ursula Macfarlane is planning to make a Netflix documentary about Anna Nicole Smith, the late Anna Nicole Smith. Variety reported.
Variety claims that the documentary, yet to be titled, will feature never-before-seen footage from the tabloid sensation and late model. It will show her. “balancing motherhood while on the verge of global stardom. The documentary is still in production, so it’s unclear when it will be released on Netflix,”Variety reported.
“I approached Anna Nicole’s story as an epic mystery tale. How did someone with so much charisma and jaw-dropping beauty, with the world at her feet, fall so far, so quickly?”In a statement obtained from Macfarlane, Macfarlane stated that People.
“Now feels like the right time to re-examine the life of yet another beautiful young woman whose life has been picked over and ultimately destroyed by our culture,”Macfarlane did not stop. “I am thrilled to work with Netflix and Propagate to make a moving, unflinching and sensitive portrayal of one of the most misunderstood women of our time.”
An official release date has yet to be announced.
Smith’s life was the story of legend – a small town single mom from Texas who shot to fame in the early ’90s as a Guess jeans model and later 1993’s Playboy’s Playmate of the Year.
Vickie Lynn Hogan was Smith’s mother. She was one of six children born to a Texas family with very poor parents. She was a waitress at a WalMart in her hometown, and she worked in a restaurant as a waitress. But she dropped out of high school when she was 17 and got married, and she had her first child, Daniel.
She was pushed by her husband to be a model at that time, but she was rejected at every agency due to her hair color, weight, or appearance, she told Inside Edition 1993.
Playboy was then interested in her. Her career took off. She modeled for Guess Jeans, appearing on billboards around the world.
After having met J. Howard Marshall II in a stripclub, Smith married Marshall II, an 89 year-old oil tycoon. Smith died one year after the couple got married. Smith’s estate was the subject of a long legal battle between his family members.
She has appeared in TV and movies. “The Anna Nicole Smith Show,”A reality show that tracked her every move.
However, her drug addiction and depression were hidden behind the scenes.
On Sept. 7, 2006, Smith became a mom for the second time and gave birth to Dannielynn Birkhead. But only three days later, her world came crashing down when her son, Daniel, died of a drug overdose.
Smith, who was 39 years old, died in her own home from a drug overdose. She was 39.
