Gabriel Martinelli, who joined the Gunners in 2012, has been steadily improving and earned his first call-up to the senior Brazil team during the international break. He was fully deserved for his selection and Tite, the national manager, rewarded him by playing a role in one of the goals against Bolivia during Tuesday’s 4-0 win.

Ozil’s Pay Cut – Explained

Arsenal fans loved Mesut Ozil when he arrived in 2013 from Real Madrid at the close of that summer’s transfer window.

The German playmaker was subsequently expelled by Mikel Arteta, and his relationship with fans had deteriorated dramatically. Ozil refused to accept a pay cut in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. This was part of the reason why fans became angry. A majority of the players agreed to a 12.5 percent reduction.

Ozil’s agent clarified that his client wanted to keep the same wage.
