Sally Bundock, a BBC Breakfast news reporter, was forced to take a break to recuperate from an operation.
Sally also presents BBC One’s The Briefing, and she is dealing with the effects of a difficult knee operation.

Her BBC replacement Victoria Fritz also added: “Sally, you are missed! Xx.”
Sally replied: “Thank you and thank you for doing such a marvellous job #liveatfive. So many early mornings.”
On Wednesday, June 15th, the reporter returned to work but had to stop to relieve the pressure from her knee.
Sally tweeted that day from BBC Studios: “It’s lovely to be back and it’s busy as usual!! A lot to catch up on.”
