Bermondsey: A fatal stabbing leaves a family in mourning

After a stabbing death in southeast London, a man was charged with four counts.

Joshua Jerome Derriviere Jacques were arrested on the spot in Bermondsey at the crack of dawn Monday.

The 28-year old will be held at Westminster Magistrates Court today.

The Met officers entered the home at 1.40am. They found Samantha, her mother Tanysha drummonds, 45, her grandmother Dolet Hill, 64 and Dolet’s partner Denton Burke 59.

Mirror received a report from a neighbor that his 15 year-old son was awakened by the sound of police. He saw four people receiving CPR in the street.

All four patients were declared dead immediately.

Before facing detectives, Jacques was admitted to hospital.

The terraced home is located in a quiet cul-de–sac, just yards from Millwall F.C.’s stadium The Den.

Dolet was the owner of the property. She lived there with Denton.

Due to her mother’s battle with cancer, Tanysha, her daughter, had been staying with Tanysha.

Samantha stayed for a week, while her Forest Hill flat was being redecorated.

Linda Bradley, Detective Chief Inspector, is the investigator. “This was a truly horrific incident and I fully recognise that the distress for the family and the community will be overwhelming.

“We are currently conducting a detailed and comprehensive investigation of the facts. Anybody with information is welcome to assist us.”
