Betty White’s California Mansion Sells for Over $10M Just Months After Being Listed


The world mourns Betty White’s death, but her California home has been sold for $10.6 Million in just a few months. According to the MLS, the sale took place only months after it was listed. New York Post.

“The Golden Girls”Star lived in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California for more than 50 years. It was listed for sale in April for $10.5 million and recently sold over asking price for $10.6 million, according to the New York Post.

It was constructed by White and Allen Ludden, her husband who died in 1981. It overlooks the famous Getty Museum, as well as the mountains.

The exclusive neighborhood allegedly has limited inventory and the high-profile home became a realtor’s dream in the current housing market, according to The Guardian.

“Being Betty White’s longtime family home was icing on the cake,” listing agent Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty Pacific Palisades Brokerage told the Wall Street Journal.

The identity of the home’s new owner is unknown.

White’s vacation house in Carmel, California, also went rather quick and sold for $10.77 million, nearly $3 million over its original $7.95 million asking price, The Guardian reported.

White died on New Years Eve 2021.

According to her death certificate, White died from a stroke she suffered six days prior to her death at the age of 99.

According to the report, “Golden Girls”According to The Associated Press on December 25, icon was at home in Los Angeles when she suffered a cerebrovascular incident, also known as a stroke. White passed away on December 31, 17 days short of her 100th Birthday.

After her death, she was cremated.

“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever,”In a statement to People, Jeff Witjas, her close friend and agent, said that she had died.
