Bob Saget had just launched a new standup tour before his death that shocked friends and fans

The final hours of the event are being revealed with new details “America’s dad”Bob Saget. Hours after performing a standup routine, the comedian and actor at 65 years old was found dead in Florida.

Saget had requested a Sunday 3 p.m. departure at the RitzCarlton Hotel in Orlando, but he didn’t show up. A housekeeper and security personnel went to Sagets room. 

He was reportedly unconscious when they found him. They found him in a neat room, his bags had been packed and were ready to go. One member of the hotel staff tried desperately to perform CPR, but it was not successful.  

“It’s going to be for a male patient. Caller is advising it’s an obvious death, stating a security officer found the guest not breathing. No pulse,”A 911 dispatcher stated.

According to the local medical examiner there was no evidence of foul play or drug use. To determine the cause of death, an autopsy will be performed. 

Saget had just recovered from COVID-19 and spoke about it in a podcast last week. “It does not feel good. I had it. I don’t know if I had Delta or a combo. Maybe at one point they were working together,”Saget added.

He joked that it might bring more people to his shows.

“What the hell. When are we going to see Bob? You know, he might die from COVID. Let’s go see him,”Saget added.

Bruce Hamilton, WJXT-TV’s morning show anchor, interviewed Saget last week in Los Angeles. This was just before Saget flew from Los Angeles to begin his standup tour.

Hamilton and Saget were college friends.

“He seemed fine. He was Bob. He was energized. He was ready to do the show,”Hamilton stated.

Saget appeared to be at the top of his profession in that last interview.

“I really love doing standup now more than I ever have. I don’t talk politics, I don’t talk religion. I just want to make people laugh, you know?”Saget added.

Aubrey’s daughter shared his last text message to him before his performance on Saturday night. “Thank U. Love U. Showtime!”He stated.

Saget posted his last Instagram photo on Sunday morning. “Loved tonight’s show. I had no idea I did a 2 hour set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this.”

Saget’s friends and former co-stars have been speaking out about his sudden death.

“I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him,”John Stamos, actor, wrote this tweet. 

Saget was their TV father, Danny Tanner, for a whole generation who grew up in the ’80s/’90s. “Full House.”

On the Netflix series, he reprised the role. “Fuller House.”

His hosting duties and his role in the sitcom are both his. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for eight years earned him a squeaky clean image, but his standup act was much edgier.

Mary-Kate Olsen (and Ashley Olsen), who played the role Saget’s youngest child on “Full House”They were saddened by his passing, but they know that he will be with them to guide them.
