Bobby Faye Ferguson, Dukes of Hazzard’ Actress, Dies at 78


Bobby Faye Ferguson, actress and mother The Conners star Jay R. Ferguson, has died. She was 78. Ferguson died naturally on June 25, her sons’ representatives at Industry Entertainment reported. Ferguson was born Oct. 10, 1943 in Memphis, Arkansas, and raised there. She attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where she also taught speech and debate at an elementary school in Dallas. KD Studio is an acting school that she co-founded.

She found work in modeling and acting after moving to Los Angeles. She was featured in the 1983 episode.
