Manchester United is not yet ready to fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the club hierarchy has already begun planning for the future.
The Star knows that Brendan Rodgers is United’s top choice to succeed Solskjaer, who is under mounting pressure after winning just three of his last 10 games in charge.
United believe that Rodgers would be happy in Leicester City, and will not move, but they are growing confident that United could reach a deal with Rodgers.
It is believed that he has a release clause in the contract. Champions Leagueclub call, leaving the Foxes vulnerable to losing their manager next season.
Rodgers led Leicester to consecutive fifth-place finishes at the Premier League and won the FA Cup. He would not be intimidated by the Old Trafford hot spot.

“I think I have shown in the early stages of my management, without being arrogant, that with a talented group of players I can compete at the top end of the league,”He said it in September 2015 when Liverpool was under pressure.
“I know how to manage top players. If you give me the tools, I’ll do the work.”
United is considering this, so what would the team look like if Rodgers succeeded Solskjaer. Silver Screen Beats SportHe took a look at the possibilities of changing Old Trafford.
Goalkeeper
United is well-stocked in the area between the posts. Despite the team’s recent struggles – and the odd mistake, like Bernardo Silva’s goal in the derby – David de Gea is still the man for the job, no matter who the manager is.
De Gea, who is still only 31, has been with the club for ten years. He is currently under contract until June 2023. Rodgers value this type of experience.

“The importance of senior players is absolutely critical for me because you cannot be with the players all the time,” he told Sky Sports In June 2020.
“If they are the right types, they help create the environment.”
Defence
Rodgers is not entirely committed to a particular formation: he has played with a four-man and five-man defence at Leicester this season and is willing to adapt, depending on the opponents and injury list.
That said, Solskjaer’s recent experiment with a back five could continue under Rodgers, who has toyed with the tactic with Leicester this season.
While Solskjaer has frequently been criticised for a lack of organisation and clear game plan, Rodgers is a disciple of discipline. While he wants attacking play, that should stem from solidity at the back.
“The football philosophy is very much about positive football. If you want to define it: we like to play attacking creative football but always with a tactical discipline,”He spoke to the newspaper in an interview. FA. “The template for all of our work is our organisation.”
HEAR YOUR OPINIONS! Brendan Rodgers would be a great replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of Manchester United. Please comment below.

United spent £34million to sign Raphael Varane in the summer, but further defensive additions could well be on the cards under Rodgers.
A right-back who can play right wingback would be ideal. United revisiting their summer interest in Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier would fit the bill.
Harry Maguire United and Varane have the experience, but Eric Bailly or Victor Lindelof can look suspect at times. Rodgers could bring 20-year-old star Wesley Fofana along to Old Trafford as a fantastic addition to the United team.
Midfield
Although Youri Tielemans is undoubtedly the star of Leicester’s show, it would be one of his teammates who could make a greater impact on United.
Fred and Scott McTominay’s partnership in holding midfield has been much maligned and the sight of Wilfred Ndidi in a red shirt would be a vast improvement in that department.

With Paul Pogba out of contract in the summer, a move for rumoured target Aurelien Tchouameni would bolster things in midfield – and fit Rodgers’ philosophy.
“I like players who can deal with the ball, players who are technically strong, players who tactically understand the game and players who want to learn,”He told the FA.
Rodgers’ use of James Maddison as a creative No10 who also has the discipline to press as part of the team’s overall game plan could also be instructive for Bruno Fernandes’ potential future under a new manager.
Attack
WhoScored’s characteristics of Rodgers’ Leicester side should make happy reading for United fans.
Listen under strengths “attacking down the wings” “stealing the ball from the opposition”Both aspects are currently a problem for United, but “creating chances through individual skill”It is straight out the current Cristiano Rolodo playbook.
Harvey Barnes’ success under Rodgers would offer encouragement for Jadon Sancho, who could be reborn as a traditional winger after a slow start at the club.
