Brian Dowling, a former Big Brother host, has rekindled his feud with Davina McAll and demanded an apology from her star after their verbal war.

They first fought after Davina claimed Brian refused to appear on the spin-off Big Brother: Best Shows Ever 2020, even though he had starred and hosted that series.

However Brian, 43, who was brutally axed from the series and replaced by Emma Willis in 2013, said he didn’t feel it was Davina’s place to comment, claiming the star made comments that “weren’t true”.

Brian has now confirmed their quarrel has yet to end, telling Silver Screen Beat: “I’ve not got an apology for stuff that was said.”

Recently, the Irish star was expelled: “I was uncomfortable with Davina’s truth because they weren’t Davina’s truths to tell. They were my truths to tell, and how I felt regarding my firing from Channel 5.

“Davina worked on a show on Channel 4. Davina and I had a good relationship up until the summer of last year, but things were said publicly that weren’t true and weren’t fair.”

Davina, 54 years old, replied to Brian’s missing Best Shows Ever special in 2020 by saying: “Just an FYI we did ask @Brianofficial to be part of the show. He was ultimate housemate!!!! It was a no brainer.”

He asked Davina why she tweeted it, and she replied: “‘Why did you feel that it was appropriate to post that? Even if you were being asked then surely you would be well aware that it would make me look bad and incite bad comments about me, when you had no idea why I might have declined to take part?”

He also added: “Did I turn you down personally? No.

“Did you, or anyone else, ask me why it might have been turned down? No.”
