Burger King offers a new condiment to go with its burgers. The iconic fast food chain has launched Peanut Butter Sauce, its latest menu innovation. But the new sauce isn’t intended to be an ice-cream topping; it is meant to pair with its Peanut Butter Stackers, and Peanut Butter Fries.
Only available in South Korea, the item is now on the menu Chew BoomBurger King’s Peanut Butter sauce combines creamy peanut butter with brown cheese. The new menu includes two Peanut Butter Stackers. The Peanut Butter stacker is made with two of the brand’s signature grilled beef patties. They are then topped off with mayo, pickles and American cheese. Finally, the peanut butter sauce is added to the sandwich. Featuring all of those ingredients other than the cheese, the Peanut Butter Beef & Chicken Stacker is made with a single beef patty and a crispy chicken patty.
Burger King will increase its peanut butter offerings by doubling down. Peanut Butter Sauce is also a staple for the new Peanut Butter Fries. Peanut Butter Fries are the perfect companion to both the new Peanut Butter Stackers. They feature French fries from the fast-food chain, drizzled with the peanut butter sauce.
Peanut Butter Sauce debuted on menus in South Korea in late March as part of the new peanut butter-inspired menu items that includes the Peanut Butter Stacker, Peanut Butter Beef & Chicken Stacker, and Peanut Butter Fries. The new menu items and Peanut Butter Sauce will be offered at participating Burger King outlets in South Korea until May 8, 2022. It is unknown if Burger King plans to bring Peanut Butter Sauce into the United States, or if the sauce will remain exclusive to South Korean customers.
The fast-food chain isn’t the first to add a new sauce to its menu after launching a new menu item. The chain also introduced Dill Pickle Chicken Nuggets to Canada in November. A creamy peppercorn sauce was also created by the chain for the Peppercorn King Double and Peppercorn King Double rollouts in Canada.
