Capitol Rioter Guy Reffitt’s Wife is Shocked at 7 Year Prison Sentence. Husband Says He Never Put People in Danger

Guy Reffitt’s two daughters and wife, Guy Reffitt the Capitol Rioter, spoke out today to discuss his seven year sentence. It is the longest sentence for any Capitol attacker since the Jan. 6th attack on the Capitol.

“I was shocked, mainly because there were other people sentenced that have actually assaulted and hurt other people. I thought it would be less than that,”Sarah, his child, spoke out for Inside Edition.

Sarah, her sister Peyton, and Nicole, their mother, believe their family has been torn apart.

“When your family is ripped apart due to ideology, it’s hard to swallow,” Nicole said.

Guy Reffitt, who was wearing a helmet, was captured on video during the insurrection. Five people were killed. He was also armed and armed with a gun.

Reffitt was a member of the Texas Three Percenters, which is a militia movement. He had sent messages to recruit others to join him Jan. 6, 2021.

Reffitt was the first to go on trial and faced five felony charges, including carrying a .40-caliber pistol during the riot, obstructing Congress’s certification of the 2020 presidential election and two counts of civil disorder.

Nicole claimed that her husband confessed to Nicole after she received his sentence. “We blanked around and found out.”

Nicole said that he intends to never again be a member of the Three Percenters movement.

Reffitt didn’t go in during the attack on Capitol. “He was bear-sprayed and went back to the hotel before curfew,”Peyton, his daughter, said.

Nicole answered the question, “Do you believe your husband puts people in danger?” “No, not once.”

“He is not a dangerous person,”She said.
