Manchester United Edinson cavani consoled a weeping fan outside Old Trafford Monday night.
Cavani, who is out-of-contract at United this summer heard Lola the little girl say “don’t leave,”The pair first met. In United’s 3-0 victory over Brentford in Premier League, the 35-year-old striker was brought on in the 75th minute.
A Alison Bender, a football presenter, shared this heartwarming video.On Monday night, Lola, a United fan and football captain, posted a picture on social media. Although she was initially worried that Cavani wouldn’t live up her expectations after meeting him, she quickly found out she was wrong.
Lola was happy when the striker wore his ‘Miss Kick’ hairband to take a picture. Lola got emotional and started to hug the player.
The video quickly became viral on social media. United fans were quick to praise Cavani for spending the time with the child. One fan posted: “That’s brilliant, so pleased for her & a memory that will last forever. Love it.”
