Celebrities and Pop Stars Remember the Late Singer

According to a spokesperson from the L.A. Sheriff’s Department, Carter was found dead in his Palmdale, California home on Saturday, November 5, according to reporters. According to E! NewsAt 11:01 a.m., a house-sitter called Carter to report that he had received a 9-1-1 emergency call. They arrived to find Carter lying in the tub and declared him dead at the scene. Further details – including Carter’s official cause of death – have not yet been revealed, but many have inferred that this had something to do with Carter’s highly-publicized battle with drug addiction.
