Cops Are Looking for “Incel” Who Pepper Sprays Women, and Posts Confrontations Online


Authorities are looking for a suspect they say has been insulting and pepper spraying young women and then posting the confrontations online.

Johnny Young, 25, self-describes herself as a woman-hater “incel,”According to police

An incel, the portmanteau for “involuntary celibacy,”You are usually a member of an online group that consists mostly of cisgender men, who are unable or unwilling to find sexual partners.

Young was last accused of attacking a woman in Costa Mesa, California. Police say he has approached women alone or in groups and verbally assaulted them to get attention while filming the interactions. 

Incredibly, when the women have defended themselves and fought back, he has then claimed to be the victim.

Two women spoke out about their experiences with the attacks. Young posted a video that Emily was attacked in.

Emily punched him in his face and bled his nose after he was pepper-sprayed.

Jessica Estrada ran after Young in another attack when he began harassing her girlfriends. After being pepper sprayed, she fought to defend herself.

“I threw my phone at him and I hit him,” Estrada said.

Young lives out of a white van with a green stripe and has posted similar attacks on women in Las Vegas, according to police.

“It could have happened to anybody,” Estrada said.

According to police, Young will be charged for hate crimes and assault with lethal weapon when he is arrested.
