BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker laughed at viewers after choosing a show-stopping look to present on the show.
Dan, 44, was accused wearing jeggings (leggings made from a jean material) while presenting on BBC’s this week.
Sally chose to wear a purple blazer with dark trousers and a navy suit that was form-fitting and had a white shirt and grey tie.
Fans mistakenly thought the outfit was jeans. “Is @mrdanwalker wearing jeggings this morning on @BBCBreakfast?”
An additional: “It must be a trick of the light!”
The third was claimed: “He has to wear what the BBC tell him to wear.”
Dan responded to the comments with this: “No he isn’t,”Addition “regulation trousers”As a hashtag, along with a smiley face.
On Wednesday, viewers were disappointed that Dan was not present on their screens. He normally presents with Sally.
Sally and he typically do Monday to Wednesday work, while Naga Munchetty (or Charlie Stayt) take over on Thursday.
Sally was however seen sitting on the red couch next to Jon Kay, the stand-in presenter for the news program.
While Dan is not yet available to provide an explanation, the star changes his schedule regularly to make room for other projects.
Social media was used by fans to voice their opinions. One post read: “Where is Dan Walker this Morning?” Most weeks he’s only doing 2 days!! Why??
“Yet another show on BBC where there is no continuity. It’s a shambles. John Kaye is so dull.”
Another thought: “WHERE’S DAN?”
However, a third of them said: “John Kay is excellent but Dan Walker should stick to football.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC at 6am.
