LyndsyFonseca stars with Chandler Massey. The film seamlessly combines Christmastime romance with the addition time travel. Back to the FutureLea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd, both alums of the program, also star in this movie. It’s their reunion of dreams.
It is a charming movie with a touching story and festive sounds. We were drawn to the festive setting and decided to learn more about Next Stop Christmas’ filming locations. Let’s have a look.
Where was “Next Stop, Christmas” filmed?
Hallmark Channel’s new Christmas romance is here Next Stop, Christmas, The entire film was shot in Connecticut. Dustin Rikert shared the story on his website. Instagram accountThe film began filming on August 23, 2021 and ended in September.
A substantial portion of Next Stop, ChristmasFilmed in Essex (Conn). Per TheCinemaholic, the train sequences include the distinguished Essex Steam Train & Riverboat trip, conducted by The Valley Railroad Company.

Old Lyme was a New London County coastal town that was heavily used for filming. It is prominently featured in scenes of the movie.
TheCinemaholicAlso, the Hallmark original was filmed in Downtown Chester (Conn). The bulk of filming occurred at distinct eateries in and around town, including Simon’s Marketplace, Grano Arso Restaurant, and Otto Pizza.

Fir patch Farm in Salem (Conn) was another prominent filming location.
“Located on 300 Buckley Road, the Christmas tree farm makes for an ideal setting for a movie that requires an incredible dose of the holiday vibe,” TheCinemaholic wrote.

Saybrook Point Resort & Marina in Old Saybrook, Conn. was also used for filming purposes, along with short stints in several other locations in Connecticut. These sections include Norwich (Deep River), New Haven, Waterford and Hartford. Hartford Courant.
What’s the “Next Stop, Christmas”?
Everyone will enjoy the latest Hallmark Channel original holiday film. Next Stop, ChristmasFollow Angie (Lyndsy Foseca), who is ready to spend Christmas alone. Angie, who is catching her daily commuter train, finds herself on a Christmas train 10 years in the future. Angie gets to revisit her past romance with Ben (Chandler Massey), thanks to Christopher Lloyd (trainman).
