Doritos Introduces Flavors Inspired By Classic Condiments


Doritos fans who like to dip their chips in ketchup and mustard no longer have to do so thanks to Frito-Lay’s new Doritos flavors. Last week, the brand shared its Classic Ketchup flavors and Spicy Mustard flavors via social media. Frito-Lay also announced “flavor swap”Chips are now available in all 50 states.

Frito-Lay’s is the only place to order Spicy Mustard or Classic Ketchup online Chip enthusiasts can create a variety pack with different flavors of chips, or purchase multiple bags of their favorites flavors. Only a few condiment-flavor chip varieties will be available. They are out of stock at the time of writing. However, we hope to have a restock soon. The Stranger Things inspired Doritos 3D Crunch Three Cheese, Doritos Dinamita Flamin’ Hot Queso Flavored Rolled Tortilla Chips, and Doritos Tangy Tamarind Flavored Tortilla Chips are also out of stock.

Frito-Lay announced a second group of products last week. “flavor swap”Variations, which are similar to last year’s range. These limited-time products mix brands and flavors in surprising ways. Lay’s Doritos Cool Ranch Flavor and Lay’s Kettle Cooked Fritos Chili Chees flavors are included in the lineup. Lay’s Wavy Funyuns Onion Flavor is also included. The chips were launched in the United States on August 8.

Doritos fans have had an exciting few months. Frito-Lay Resurrected the loved 3-D chips in May to celebrate the new Stranger Things season. Flamin’ Hot Cool Ranch was even introduced. The new Tangy Tamarind Doritos will become available on Monday. Tamarind is an ingredient that is common in Asian, Indian and Hispanic cuisines. The flavor of the chip is influenced by it. It gives the chip its distinctive flavor. “authentic, tangy flavor with a kick of heat and citrus,” a Doritos rep told Thrillist. Frito-Lay introduced the Tangy Pickle & Tangy Ranch flavors last year. These flavors must have been popular enough to spur more tangy flavors.
