Dwayne Johnson sings sweet songs during a’special day’ with his mum at the grandparents’ grave


Dwayne Johnson visited his mum Ata in Honolulu to visit her parents’ gravestone. They sang a song together while she played the ukulele

Dwayne Johnson has shown that he is a dedicated dad many times on social media. Now, he uploaded a rare video with mum as they shared a sweet moment.

The 49-year old actor uploaded the video of Ata and him singing sweet songs at the gravestone in Honolulu Hawaii.

The rock star, also known by The Rock, was seen enjoying the sun on the grass with his mom while she played a tune on her ukulele.

His mum dedicates the song to any person who has lost a loved ones before they share it. She ends the song by saying: “Memories are forever mummy and daddy. Love and miss you.”

He then explains the engraving on his grandparents stone. He explained: “My mom had engraved ‘the ukulele has ended but the melody lingers on. Life is not forever, love is’.”

The sweet clip ends with the pair expressing their love and admiration for Dwayne’s 300,000,000 Instagram followers.

In the caption, he explained how the couple enjoyed each other. “very special day”Before telling his story, he should be a “grateful son”.

He wrote: “Got to spend such an awesome mother + son day this weekend with my mom @atajohnson at her mom & dad’s grave here in Hawaii.

“Life is so fast that you realise how important it can be to slow down, sit back, reminisce, and listen to her sing and play her ukulele.”

He continued: “I use the word “mana” a lot to describe spiritual energy & power – and the mana was so strong today. Still strong, but still calm.

“A little sad at times, but so much gratitude & joy.

“I know you know this feeling I’m talking about when it comes to your loved ones who’ve passed on.”

The Rock concluded the post by saying: “I hope everyone had a great time with their families and loved ones. “

His words were met with great appreciation by his legions of followers as many took to the comments section to share their own thoughts.

With over 1.4 million likes on the post, American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn was among those to leave a comment, simply posting two love heart emojis.

Another fan wrote: “Sending you good vibes” while a third said: “Aww so cute.”

While fans were loving his latest posts, many were left disappointed at the turn of the year as he admitted he will never return to the Fast & Furious franchise despite Vin Diesel asking him to make a comeback.

Tensions have been high between the acting duo since 2016 when The Rock publicly praised his female co-stars in a gushing Instagram post, but criticised some of the lead male actors in the same breath.
