Ed Sheeran reveals the best part of living without a phone


Ed Sheeran says he hasn’t used a cell phone for seven years. However, he believes there are many benefits to disconnecting. The “Bad Habits”Singer reveals the new episode of The Collector’s EditionThe phone was a distraction that led to him developing some bad habits. 

“I don’t carry a phone, no. I haven’t had a phone since 2015,”Ben Clymer was interviewed by Sheeran, who said that he had become a better person because he spent so much time staring at the screen. “really, really overwhelmed and sad with the phone.”

“I just spent my whole time in a very low place,”The musician went on. “I got rid of it, and it was like a veil just lifted.”Sheeran decided to quit the phone after he completed his Multiply Tour to avoid the stress of responding to all of his texts.  “I didn’t so much cut contact with people, I just limit contact with people,”He explained.  

While he might not be able to use a mobile device, he is still able to access other technology. Sheeran doesn’t have a cell phone and keeps in touch with his circle via email. “Every few days I’ll sit down and I’ll open up my laptop and I’ll answer 10 emails at a time. And I’ll send ’em off and I’ll close my laptop,”He stated. “And then I’ll go back to living life and I don’t feel overwhelmed by it.”

The singer sings “the best thing about”He felt more connected to his loved ones by getting rid of his smartphone. He claims that the loss has made a difference in his mental health, and it has left him feeling more connected to his loved ones. “feeling better about everything.”

Sheeran made the announcement to his fans. Social mediaHe told his followers in 2015 that he had grown tired of it all. “seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes.” “I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed,”He added, “To my family and friends, if you love me, you will understand me buggering off for a bit.”
