Elle Macpherson’s Wellness Habits are Inspiring, but Are They Achievable?

Elle Macpherson is a mindfulness practitioner who practices it throughout her day. Actress and model Elle Macpherson has a routine for mindful living that she swears by. These wellness practices are very inspiring. But, can they be attainable for us?

In Interview with Body and SoulThe model spoke out about her wellness habits. Macpherson is a model with next-level wellness habits.

It’s a goal that many women would love to be able to obtain. Being a healthy eater, I want to be able to eat organic and local foods.

However, only buying groceries that are organic—let alone local—would greatly limit the amount of food that I could purchase here in the Midwest.

Plus, as a mom to three kids, sometimes it’s a battle just getting them to eat the one carrot on their plate. Oh, and let’s not forget about the cost. We all know how expensive it is to eat well.

Macpherson, a model and entrepreneur, can afford to shop for the products that are most beneficial to her well-being. The actress said she also makes her own local food. “regular appointments for acupuncture, chiropractic, breathwork and sound healing.” 

Macpherson is a great example of the dedication to her well-being. But are there aspects of her mindfulness practices that we can learn from?

Surprisingly, yes! Thankfully, not all of the model’s wellness habits are costly and unattainable. A few of them can be done by most people, even moms who don’t have much time or money.

Mindfulness Habits That Are Time-Effective and Affordable

Macpherson shared the following Instagram post to show that meditation is an integral part of her wellness program. It is a low- or even free mindfulness exercise that most people can do. It can be done in as little as five minutes per day.

According to the model, “When [it] comes to mindfulness… I take care of my mind, body and spirit every day with breath practice and meditation. My daily practice includes meditating in the morning for around 25 minutes – either guided, or in silence. I try to live my life in a perpetual flow of meditative connection rather than just at specified times.⁠”

Another part of Macpherson’s routine many of us can adopt is her “tea ceremony.”Although it sounded more high-brow than necessary due to the model, I also enjoy herbal tea at the conclusion of the day. It’s a great way to calm nerves and relax at the end of a busy day.

Macpherson also mentioned an excellent habit for everyone: getting outside! Macpherson said: “I love being outside and connecting to nature…hiking, biking, swimming or simply sitting in the fresh air and sunshine. I don’t have a set schedule. I go with the flow, but I go.”

This is great advice especially for busy people who need to be able go whenever they can.

While some of the model’s wellness habits are unrealistic for many women, taking just a few minutes a day to go outdoors, drink tea, and meditate are practices that we all can try to adopt.
