Emmerdale Paddy Kirk star’s relationship with a famous wife

Since the beginning, Emmerdale’s star Paddy Kirk has been a favourite of many viewers on the ITV soap.

And it’s fair to say that the show wouldn’t be the same without the lovable vet played by Dominic Brunt, 51, who has held the now iconic role for more than 20 years.

Dominic has had his fair shares of love interests throughout the years, from Rhona Gorkirk to Mandy Dingle to Chas Dingle.

The Dales star, however, is happily married to his beautiful wife, who is also a big screen hit.

Dominic and Joanne Mitchell have been married since 2003. The 49-year-old has appeared in numerous soap operas along with her husband, actor Dominic Mitchell.

Joanne, a Macclesfield native, is well-known as the show’s main character. However Joanne has appeared in numerous award-winning shows and even starred in Emmerdale.

The actress, who has been a loving wife and mother to her four children, was able to play four different roles on the Dales. She started out as Susan Davies, then she became a Yeo, a midwife.

The TV star then went on to perform more demanding roles including her role as DS Karen Barnborough as well as her most recent performance as Sandra Flaherty – the mother and stepmother of Liv Flaherty and Aaron Livesey on the show.

But it’s not just ITV productions the mum-of-two has worked on, as she has also performed on the set of Doctors, Coronation Street and Waterloo Road throughout her career.

The star was also seen on the sets of Bad Girls, Heartbeat, and the 1990s crime drama A Touch Of Frost.

The happy couple now share two children together, but it hasn’t always been plain sailing for them after their son Danny underwent a serious operation at just eight months old.

In an interview with This Morning, the actor shared his story about how his son was raised. “major heart surgery”After being diagnosed with a serious heart condition, he was able to continue his education at a young age.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were reassured by the actor. “he’s absolutely fine now.”

He admitted: “At the time it’s the most horrific thing to have to go through as a parent and obviously as a child, but he’s football-mad now, he’s completely fine.”

However, the loving father refused to allow this to stop him. He channelled his trauma experience into his on-screen role, especially during his storyline featuring Chas, played Lucy Pargeter on the show in 2018.
