Estelle Harris, Beloved ‘Seinfeld’ ‘Toy Story’Actress, dead at 93


Estelle Harris, a beloved actress likely best known for her portrayal of George Costanza’s mother in the iconic television show, “Seinfeld,”Over the weekend, she died. She was 93. 

Glen Harris, Glen Harris’ son, stated that she died from natural causes in Palm Desert (California) according to NPR. 

“Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were practically unrivaled, and she will be terribly missed by all those who knew her,”He wrote. 

Her “Seinfeld”Jason Alexander, the actor who played George Costanza, on the hit sitcom that aired between 1989 and 1997, also honored Harris. “One of my favorite people has passed – my tv mama, Estelle Harris,”He wrote it on Twitter. “The joy of playing with her and relishing her glorious laughter was a treat. I adore you, Estelle. Love to your family. Serenity now and always.”
Alexander received a lot of support and love, and he then tweeted. “Thanks to you all for your kind and sweet messages and remembrances of #EstelleHarris. She would be so touched. As am I. And as she would say, “WHY CANT YOU BE MORE LIKE LLOYD BRAUN!!??”

Harris was born Estelle Nussbaum on 22 April 1928 in New York City. Deadline reported that she began acting in the community theaters while raising her children. 

On 27 episodes, she was Estelle Costanza. “Seinfeld”Between 1992 and 1998. The character was already named Estelle when she got the part. 

Harris was also well-known as Mrs. In the Potato Head “Toy Story” franchise. For decades, she dazzled audiences on screen and stage with her roles “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “Futurama” “iCarly.” 

Harris is survived three children, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
