DC movies Wonder Twins’ & Batgirl’

DC Films planned to introduce minor DC Comics characters into low-budget movies that would be released to HBO Max before the merger. This was the first of these. BatgirlIt starred Leslie Grace playing Barbara Gordon and was the first time that Michael Keaton had appeared as Batman in 30 year. Even though principal photography had been completed, it was announced that the film would not be released in August. The budget reportedly reached $90 million, which was too much for a streaming-only movie but not enough for a blockbuster theatrically-released movie.
Warner Bros. Discovery pulled the plug as well Wonder TwinsKJ Apa starred alongside Isabel May in “The Title Characters”, a May film. The film cost $75 million according to some reports. That’s a lot for a movie about cult characters that are not well-known beyond the DC Comics fandom.
‘Gordita Chronicles’

‘Strange Adventures’

Some DC Comics shows such as James Gunn are still available. Peacemaker Will survive. Strange Adventures This event has been cancelled. This was a long-gestating series that featured obscure DC Comics characters Greg Berlanti and Kevin Smith. Smith declared the show dead during an episode of his podcast.
‘Scoob! Holiday Haunt and House Party

Scoob! Holiday Haunt Was a $40 million animated sequel of the 2020 Scoob! movie. It was also scrapped the next day. BatgirlThe axe was taken. The LeBron James-produced remained on the job. House Party has disappeared. It was supposed to have been released on HBO Max July 1, but it was never made available.
Projects ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ and ‘Looney Tunes’

On Aug. 22, six Warner Bros. Studios cut the latest HBO Max clips. Warner Bros. has not canceled any animation projects. Discovery plans to sell the animation projects to other outlets. This includes Batman: Caped Crusader. Merry Little Batman. The Day the Earth Blew up: A Looney Tunes Movie. Bye Bye Bunny. A Looney Tunes Musical. Did I do that To The Holidays?: A Steve Urkel Story, And The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie.
‘Demimonde’

Demimonde J.J. Abrams was a HBO project (Lost, Alias() was a project that Warner Bros. had been working on for many years. Discovery pulled the plug. The budget for the science-fiction drama was reportedly $200 million. Olive Reed, played by Danielle Deadwyler, is the lead character. She has lost her husband and daughter in a scientific accident.
TNT and TBS projects
Related Warner Bros. Discovery cuts. The future of Turner networks such as TBS and TNT are completely unknown. It doesn’t seem like any new original scripted reality projects or scripts will be made. Snowpiercer This was the last scripted TNT original and it will end with the upcoming fourth season.
