Fan-Favorite Couple ‘Love Is Blind’Secretly Splits Up

Another couple from Love is blindThey have split up. Two days after Love Is Blind’s Altar special, Kyle Abrams (Season 2) and Deepti Venpati (Season 2) have split. Abrams and Vempati shared their separation via an Instagram post Monday. They had previously tried a romantic relationship.

Abrams acknowledged this in his post “many of you are curious as to where Deepti and I stand today”Before revealing that “since After the Alter was filmed, we decided to go our separate ways in early summer.”Abrams kept going to thank “everyone who has followed our journey through arduous vulnerability and has supported us along the way.”Although his relationship with Vempati has been ended, Abrams said that he still has a romantic relationship with Vempati. Vempati has not yet commented publicly on the matter. “since embarked on a new relationship, which I intend to keep private for a bit.”He ended the message by writing. “as for what the future holds, I have not a clue. Going forward, I plan to live each day in the present without any regret.”

While there had been some romantic feelings between them in the pods, Vempati finally accepted Abhishek’s proposal. “Shake”Chatterjee and Abrams were able to propose to Shaina Hurley. Season 2 fans saw both those relationships rapidly deteriorate and eventually end. However, Vampati and Abrams were still open to love during the three-part finale. After the Altar, Love is Blind:Special decided to take their close friendship to the next level. Vempati was told by Abrams during the third episode. “I want to just start a relationship – like a legitimate relationship with you,”He added that he wanted it to “be exclusive”Instead of “just, like, in limbo.” 

Talk to PEOPLE Abrams said that he was reluctant to make the leap from friendship to love, but that he did not want to. “because she was my best friend. And if it doesn’t work out, you kind of lose the friendship. Because if you break up for whatever reason – and I wasn’t planning to breakup – but you always have to think about what happens after.”After making the jump, he continued to share his knowledge. “it was like nothing really changed because I felt like we were dating already. We saw each other almost every day. We spent hours together. We did everything together. She had even met my family, so it wasn’t weird or anything.”

Vempati Abrams is the latest couple to leave Netflix’s most recent season. Jarrette Jones (Iyanna McNeely) announced their separation in August. A few days later it was confirmed that Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl, who had also decided to wed in Season 2, had split and were now getting divorced.
