Are you Counting on son Jeremiah Duggar and his girlfriend Hannah Wissmann engaged? Rumours that the 22-year-old former TLC personality might be planning a wedding emerged just weeks after he announced that he was dating Wissmann (23 years old). After Wissmann took a photo of herself and her boyfriend looking out from beneath a large wooden cross, fans began to wonder if they were ready for the next stage in their relationship.
“All my life You have been faithful / All my life You have been so, so good / With every breath that I am able / I will sing of the goodness of God,”Wissmann captioned Wissmann’s picture with lyrics from the song “Goodness of God”Before you add, “From a heart overflowing with gratitude, Happy Thanksgiving to each one of you!!”
Some commenters suggested that the physical closeness of the two could be indicative of only engaged couples living in the Duggar clan, which has strict rules regarding courting and dating. Others suggested that Wissmann’s light pink or white dress indicated an engagement. Although Duggar was rumored have been in a relationship with Wissmann since last year, the couple only confirmed their relationship on October 27th. “Never been so happy. Never felt so blessed!!”Duggar also wrote a photograph with Wissmann that day. “Getting to know each other has been one of the greatest joys of our lives! We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future.”
The Duggar family is currently preparing for Josh Duggar’s child-pornography trial. This is due to begin on Nov. 30. Josh Duggar was arrested April 29th and charged with one count each of child pornography receiving and possessing. Special Agent Gerald Faulkner later told the court that material found on Josh’s computer by authorities is. “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine.”
Josh was only six days away from Anna Duggar’s announcement that she was expecting her seventh child. Tuesday saw Anna share that she gave birth to Madyson Lily Duggar, her seventh child. Josh has pleaded not guilt to the charges but could be sentenced to up to 20 year imprisonment and fines as high as $250,000 on each count.
