Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has almost raked in a whopping £7.5million during the last two year, reports claim.

The 35 year old reportedly earned £3.9million last year, which was an increase from £3.5million the year before.

Emilia, well-known to TV viewers as the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Tgaryen in the fantasy series, is believed to have earned the fee through her performing arts company Scenic Root. Scenic Root was established in 2014.

Despite not having any roles of note in the past two years, the actress’s business, where she is the sole director, appears to be doing well.

Emilia was last seen in the movie Last Christmas in 2019, which came out just as Game of Thrones ended.

At the height of her career in the hit dragon show, the London-born star made around £170,000 per episode.

In November 2015, she was also the face for Dior’s Rose des Vents jewelry collection.

After revealing that she had suffered from brain aneurysms in 2011, and 2013, Emilia started her own charity, SameYou. This charity aims to support brain injury victims of young people while removing the stigma.

Emilia spoke to the Observer about her condition during Game of Thrones filming. She said that it provided her with a new perspective.

She explained: “I definitely think it’s a good thing. Having a brain haemorrhage that coincided precisely with the beginning of my career and the beginning of a show that became something quite meaty, it gave me a perspective that I wouldn’t have otherwise.”

“I’m quite a resilient human being, so a parent dying and brain haemorrhages coinciding with success and people following you in the street and getting stalkers—you’re just like, ‘Well, let’s try and make something sensible of it.'”

Despite her hiatus in film and television, Emilia will make a return to screen for Secret Invasion, a Marvel spin-off miniseries.

Kyle Bradstreet created the American TV miniseries, which will air on Disney+. It will feature well-known actors Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle as well as British star Martin Freeman.
