Goldie Hawn Uses Wine Bottles in Her Wellness Routine


Goldie Hawn has returned to Instagram with more “Mind Up”Tips for those who want to improve their mental health. The actress just shared her typical workout routine and gave a pretty creative solution for people who don’t have dumbbells at home. 

Exercise Is A Key Part Of Mental Health

“Keep your mind up for exercise,”Hawn captioned Hawn’s post. Mind Up is her mental health organization. Actress Jennifer Aniston often talks about how important it is to take small breaks throughout the day in order to improve your mental health.

Are you one of them? Physical activity. “Research shows that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional wellbeing,”Hawn wrote the caption. “Physical exercise can help boost our mood, concentration, and also help us achieve a positive outlook on life.”

“The great news is that exercise doesn’t have to be strenuous or take a long time to make us feel good,”She went on. “Studies show low or moderate intensity exercise is enough to make a difference in our mood, behavior and thinking patterns.” 

Hawn explained how brain chemicals such as serotonin and stress hormones can alter after just a few minutes. Exercise can help you sleep better and increase your self-esteem.

“We all know the physical benefits of exercise but it can also profoundly impact our mental health in an amazing way,”Hawn ended. The actress demonstrated in her video a few exercises that anyone could do during the day. 

Hawn takes to a small trampoline. She tells the camera that it is good for the heart and lymphatic system. She adds that, if you don’t have a trampoline at home, you can jump up and down in place. 

She then moves to the kitchen, where she starts lifting wine bottles like dumbbells, saying that it’s just the same as using weights. Hawn says that large water bottles are also possible. Hawn takes her viewers through some more exercises. She shows them how to take a walk in her neighborhood, do yoga, and make sure they are hydrated. “thank yourself for taking time for you today.”
