HBO Max renewed critically-acclaimed series Minx On Thursday, the second season of the show will be aired. The show takes place in 1970s Los Angeles. Guardians of the GalaxyStar Ophelia Lovibond as a feminist who is recruited to the staff of an erotic publication. It was founded by The Jamie Kennedy Experiment veteran Ellen Rapoport.
Joyce Prigger (Lovibond), a journalist, joins Doug (Jake Johnson), to launch the first women’s erotic magazine. Glenn is more naive than she and wants to make quick money. This unlikely alliance results in some unexpected relationships for both. Jessica Lowe, Oscar Montoya and Lennon Parham are also part of the main cast. Idara Victor and Michael Angarano round out the rest.

Minx is an Lionsgate Television production. The executive producers are Rapoport and Paul Feig. Rachel Lee Goldenberg, Dan Magnante, Ben Karlin, and Dan Magnante. Between March 17th and April 14th, HBO Max released two episodes per semaine.
Lovibond is perhaps best known for his role in Carina.Thor: The Dark World Guardians of the Galaxy, and voiced the character on an episode of Disney+ What if …?. Other credits include Elementary, Trying, Titanic: Blood & Steel, And Rocketman. Johnson played Nick Miller in New GirlStarred in ABC’s short-lived series “The View” Stumptown Cobie Smulders
“I’d never read anything like it,”Lovibond told Entertainment Weekly Of the first Minx She read the script. “I am a feminist, I love the seventies, so in terms of the aesthetic and the message, it was on point. But I’d never read that kind of character. She’s quite flawed. She can be abrasive. I just thought it was a fantastic character. And so funny.”
