Here’s why Joe left ‘Impractical Jokers.

When Impractical JokersFirst premiered in 2011, the show was instantly loved by fans who got to know Joe Gatto (Sal Vulcano), Sal Vulcano and James Murray (and Brian Quinn). Except for Quinn, the men had been friends since highschool and their relationship was unquestionably funny. Fans were therefore shocked when Joe Gatto decided not to continue with the group in 2021. Here’s everything we know about Gatto’s decision to leave Impractical Jokers.

Joe Left ‘Impractical Jokers’To Prioritize His Children Upon Divorce

Fans will be glad to hear that Gatto didn’t depart because of some dramatic falling out with the other guys. Gatto stated that he was leaving to give priority to his children. Gatto announced his departure in an Instagram post, which was shared December 31, 2021.

But he also stated that he was going though a divorce. “Due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away. Bessy and I have decided to amicably part ways, so now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids,”The caption was as follows:

Gatto married Bessy for eight years. They have two children. Their daughter Milana was born in 2015. They welcomed Remington in 2017. The pair repeatedly sparked reconciliation rumors in the months following their split, but it looks like they’re still going through with their divorce.

He assured fans at the time that he was still in good terms with his co-stars, and that the show wasn’t ending. In Scott King interviewThe remaining Impractical Jokers assured everyone their friendship with Gatto was still strong.

“Our relationship with Joe has not changed an iota. We’re just not making the show together,” Quinn explained. “I talk to him almost every day.”

Joe will not be absent from the Show.

Despite Gatto parting ways with the crew midway through the show’s ninth season, the comedians forged ahead. They chose to replace Gatto and instead of welcoming a new celebrity host each week. They also rebranded the logo and created a new title sequence. It seems like the creators are coping with Gatto’s absence by reinventing the show in whatever ways they can.

The changes were certainly jarring for many long-time fans but the show was renewed for a 10th season. However, it has not all been easy. Some critics miss the original show when Gatto was alive. Some fans suggest that the show should be ended.

Other reviews criticize the show’s extensive use of physical pain in its jokes. One critic liked itTo a “less entertaining”Version of the Jackass franchise. Of course, it’s likely that the show is just trying to find its footing in Gatto’s absence. Either way, things are clearly different without the comedian’s presence.

Joe is also building his solo business

As for Joe Gatto, the comedian hasn’t sat idle since leaving the show. On the contrary—he’s in the process of launching his own solo career. Gatto and comedian Steve Byrn teamed up in March 2022 to launch Their podcast Two Cool Mothers. They named it after their strong-willed, opinionated mother.

Gatto also has made great strides in standup comedy. Gatto launched his first tour. “Joe Gatto’s Night of Comedy,”September. At the moment, he’s touring the country, bringing audiences comedy in a completely different way from his TV days. His tour will continue into January and fans will be able to see him live. He recently celebrated a huge milestone: he’s now performed standup in all 50 states (North Dakota being the last).

Joe is continuing his advocacy for the ‘Adopt, Don’t Shop’ Movement

While Gatto’s career has taken a huge turn over the past year, he hasn’t slowed down his advocacy work. Gatto and his wife founded a non-profit rescue and sanctuary for seniors and disabled dogs. Gatto Pups and Friends is their organization and the comedian promotes it frequently on his social media.

Its goal is to encourage pet owners to become pet owners. “adopt, don’t shop.”Pet owners can reduce the number of puppy mills by adopting from shelters and not buying puppies from breeders. Gatto remains active in the animal rights community and posts frequently about his dogs.
