The Iranian Hulk is now more than 2 stone lighter than his fight with the World’s Scariest Man at O2 Arena, April 30.
After months of threats and trash talking online, Martyn Ford and Sajad Gharibi, bodybuilders, will face off in London’s ring next month. Iranian Hulk Gharibi now says that despite being criticized for his training methods, he managed to lose nearly two stone before the bout due to his workout routine.
His use of wrestling training in videos he posted to social media over the past few weeks has confused fans.
Gharibi spoke at a conference and revealed via the Mirror: “I was 145kg at that point in October when the fight was made. However, I have made a conscious effort to lose weight. I’m now 130kg and in better condition to win this fight.
“This is my dream to be in this fight and know this, what happened yesterday will not happen in the fight. I have been training vigorously for this day, I have brought down my weight and put everything on the line to make this happen. Know this, I am putting everything behind me. I will do whatever it takes to make this fight.
Who will win the fight between the Iranian Hulk and the World’s Scariest Man? Let us know in the comments section below.

“I have been working on a lot more lighter and flexible workouts whereas before I was doing muscle building workouts. My stamina and heart rate have both improved and I am ready to do the rounds. I am just going to stick to what I am doing and focus on that.”
Gharibi’s weight loss of 15 kg is equivalent to just over 2 stone. The 6ft 2in Iranian will headline a card that also features former Manchester United defender Patrice Elvra.
The 29-year-old previously claimed that Ford was his original goal before he agreed to their scheduled boxing bout.
