So, why do people seem to think that Cruise has begun stepping away from the religion in recent years when he’s historically been a very active member? This is partly due to the tabloids. It remains to be asked if Tom Cruise is still a member of Church of Scientology. All indications point to yes, despite all the gossip in the tabloids. Cruise lives in Clearwater Florida in a penthouse that is only blocks from Scientology headquarters. Connor Cruise is also believed to be a Clearwater resident. 

Cruise has also been spending some time in London, which is another important hub for scientists. Isabella Jane Cruise is his daughter and lives there with her husband. If Cruise ever were to leave Scientology, it’s not a story that would be broken by the likes of Life & Style or some random Australian tabloid, that’s for sure.
