ITV The Games Holly Willoughby is forced to close by an athletics legend

-

Holly Willoughby was stopped by Denise Lewis, an athletics legend – only minutes into the first episode on ITV’s The Games.

Holly and Freddie Flintoff host The Games, ITV’s brand new reality series that pits 12 super-fit celebrities against each other in a variety of sports challenges over a week of live programs.

Holly faced conflict from her own presenting team when the grueling challenge show began on Monday night.

Holly believed it was “unfair”Because hurdles aren’t smaller for athletes with shorter legs competing in hurdle races she was curious why the athletics authorities didn’t change their format.

Holly was disappointed to learn that Denise Lewis, a former champion in athletics, didn’t agree.

Holly was subject to backlash from ITV’s The Games

Denise, a former track and cross athlete, is an expert in the heptathlon. This involves the 100m hurdles.

The legendary athlete won gold at Sydney Olympics 2000, two World Championships and was elected European Champion 1998.
