Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin Announce Reunion


Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin have reunited Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein. As they announced their live event, the longtime friends and co stars chatted on FaceTime. Grace and FrankieReunion table reading scheduled for October 28th to benefit Jane Fonda Climate PAC

“I think we’re on mute,”Fonda, who is 84 years old, made the comments in the video. Tomlin, 83 year-old, responded. “How can I put just you on mute?”Fonda has been a vocal climate change activist for many years. She protested regularly in Washington D.C. and was even arrested at least five times during protests. Fonda revealed last month that she was diagnosed with cancer. “very treatable cancer”She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and assured her fans she “will not let any of this interfere”She is a climate activist.

“So, my dear friends, I have something personal I want to share. I’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and have started chemo treatments,”Fonda posted a lengthy Instagram story at the time. “This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky.”Netflix’s star admitted that she had been in chemotherapy for six months. “handling the treatments quite well.”

“Cancer is a teacher and I’m paying attention to the lessons it holds for me. One thing it’s shown me already is the importance of community. Of growing and deepening one’s community so that we are not alone. And the cancer, along with my age – almost 85- definitely teaches the importance of adapting to new realities,”Fonda added.

Fond had Tomlin by her side throughout her latest battle with cancer. Dolly Parton and Fond starred together in the 1980 film. 9 5Before reuniting for 2015 Grace and FrankieThe series aired for seven seasons. It also featured Sam Waterson and Martin Sheen.
