Jane McDonald keeps her figure intact by eating one type after losing 4 stone in weight

Jane McDonald has lost four stone and now only eats one kind of bread. This is how the slim star keeps her weight under control.

The 59 year-old gave her health a boost in 2015 and hasn’t looked back.

Two years after the beginning of her health journey, Jane signed up to ITV’s Sugar Free Farm in 2017 – where she ended up shedding even more weight.

While on the show she discovered a different kind of bread that would aid weight loss – and it doesn’t have any yeast in it.

Jane was on TV observing that a number of celebrities had to eat a sugar-free diet. Angelique met Jane while she was doing the same thing.

Angelique was Jane’s resident nutritionist on the farm. She gave Jane an amazing bread recipe and helped her to get through the day.

Jane loved the bread hack that she discovered while watching the show.

Jane once said: “The only bread I eat is one that I’ve got a recipe for from Angelique.

“It’s got no yeast in it and it’s made with lots of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, wholemeal flour, oats and yogurt of all things.

“It’s literally 20 minutes and it’s made – ready to put in the oven.

“I don’t eat a lot of it but when I’m really craving a bit of starch I just get some out of the freezer and stick it in the toaster and it’s done.”

When the former Loose Women panelist starred on the show, she lost a whopping 9lbs in two weeks, which was all down to following Angelique’s diet plan and eating foods like the unique bread.

Speaking to the Express, Jane said: “Participating in the TV program Sugar Free Farm resulted in me losing a stone and half.

“I used to eat so much rubbish. I didn’t realise how much rubbish I used to eat. I’ve always loved a pie and I was very carbohydrate-led as I was always hungry.

“I ate far too many unhealthy foods and too many. I didn’t realise that if you eat the wrong things, it doesn’t feed your body so you will want more.

“I like my life, and my schedule takes a lot of energy, but I was beginning to get quite tired and I was blaming it on age.”
