Janet Jackson Claims Brother Michael is One of the Reasons she Experienced Career Problems in New Documentary

Janet Jackson is unfiltered in her new four-hour Lifetime and A&E documentary, in which no subject is off limits as she discusses her life, her career and her late brother Michael Jackson.

“It’s just something that needs to be done,”She spoke out about the two-part documentary series, saying “Janet Jackson.”

She discusses the ups and downs that come with being a Jackson member. “there were times when I just didn’t understand where I actually fit in.”

She also addresses the infamous 2004 Super Bowl Halftime show where Justin Timberlake tore a part of her costume off. Timberlake apologized for the first time last year, but Jackson questioned why she was blacklisted by the industry while the “Sexy Back”Singer had a successful solo career.

Jackson also will speak about how the sexual abuse allegations made against her brother Michael Jackson affected her career. Janet states that the allegations ruined her career and made it look like she was being a “sexy” person. “guilty by association.”According to reports, she talks about her loss of a Coca-Cola campaign as she was the sister to “King of Pop.”

Katherine Jackson, the family matriarch and also interviewed in the documentary, responds to questions regarding her feelings towards Michael. “I can’t”Before becoming emotionally.  

Jackson also talks about her marriages, laughing when asked to describe her relationship with men. 

“It was a magical relationship if it didn’t hurt so much,”The documentary features her first husband, James DeBarge (singer). “I was just incredibly innocent.”

Inside Edition spoke with DeBarge in 2017 about the long-standing rumor that Jackson and he had a child. “I am not going to say anything about if it’s true or not.”

Kristina, his daughter, spoke out about the rumors to Inside Edition as well. “I do believe I have a sister out there. Whether Janet is the mother, I don’t know for sure.”

Now, the question is whether Jackson will actually weigh in on this rumor.

The “Rhythm Nation”With Wissam al Mana, the singer has a 5-yearold son named Issa. They separated in 2017.

The documentary “Janet Jackson,” premieres Friday on both Lifetime and A&E. The documentary’s second half will air on the next night.
