Jill Duggar undergoes surgery following ‘horrible pain’

Jill Dillard (Duggar) is recovering after undergoing emergency surgery. After having her third child, son Frederick Michael Dillard (with husband Derick Dillard), was born just weeks ago. Counting onAfter experiencing gallbladder failure, star had gallbladder surgery performed over the weekend. “a horrible bout of pain.”

Dillard spoke out about Saturday’s terrifying experience in an Instagram posting, sharing it with her followers. “almost made it to my six-week postpartum well-check without incident.”She was nevertheless able to share her experience. “a horrible bout of pain earlier this week that culminated yesterday in having to have gallbladder surgery.”Dillard acknowledged that she “wasn’t excited about having to start my healing time clock over again,”She expressed her gratitude, but she did not forget to thank you. “good medical care & so many other little blessings along the way…help from family and friends + the relief now and thought of hopefully never having to deal with another bad gallbladder attack again!!”Arkansas native, she went on to write about the symptoms she felt. “PSA!! In case my story helps anyone else, listen up!!”

“If you’re like me and have been dealing with what you think are just ‘gut issues’ episodes occasionally but are frustrated that you can’t pinpoint exactly what is causing them, even if it hasn’t been accompanied with a ton of ‘pain yet maybe think again,”She wrote. “Or … as my surgeon said, ‘the storm might be brewing’ but just hasn’t hit/you haven’t had a big gallbladder attack yet!”

Dillard then shared with us a list she had learned along the way, including that Dillard was able to identify the following: “women are 2-4x more likely than men to have gallbladder problems,”Send her an email “wanted to share a few of these things in case it helps you recognize a potential gallbladder problem sooner than later and avoid a grueling gallbladder attack!”

Dillard had her surgery just weeks after Freddy was born to her and her husband. The couple announced the birth by explaining the meaning of their son’s name, “sharing”. “Frederick means ‘Peaceful Ruler’ and Michael means ‘Gift from God.'”Derick’s parents added that Frederick holds special meaning to Derick’s families as well as being a “special meaning” for them. “Derick’s name with ‘Fre’ added to the front, to make ‘Fre-derick.'”TLC alumni who got married in 2014 have two children, Israel, 7 years old, and Samuel, 5 years.
