Julia Garner speaks out after Series Finale


Ozarkofficially ended. To commemorate the occasion, OzarkJulia Garner (star of Ruth Langmore) took to Instagram to post a message about the end to the series. After Season 4’s second half premiered, Netflix announced the end of the series. 

Monday was a month ago, and the actor took some time to reflect. Ozark journey. Season 4’s first half premiered in January. The second half of Season 4 was released in April, a few months later. It was first reported in June 2020. OzarkAfter four seasons, the show would end. Chris Mundy, showrunner of the series, said that Season 4 would have a supersized finale. The season would then be divided into two parts each, each with seven episodes. Mundy released a statement regarding the end of the series, and expressed his gratitude to Netflix that they allowed him to finish it on his terms.

“We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes saga right,”Mundy said. “It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on-screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.”Cindy Holland, who was the former VP for Netflix’s Original Content addressed the finale of the show and praised the team for creating such engaging television. “Ozark is a gripping drama that has captivated audiences all around the world and garnered tremendous critical acclaim,”Holland declared. “We’re so grateful to Chris, Jason, Laura, Julia and the entire cast and crew for all their tireless dedication to the show and can’t wait to see how the Byrdes’ journey comes to a close.”

While some fans may be desperate for more OzarkIt’s evident that the team wanted the series to end in the right manner. Bateman, who is also the show’s director, stated that it felt appropriate that they end the series in that way. OzarkEnd after four seasons, as they couldn’t bear to go into the dreaded “jumping the shark” territory. He said Collider, “So, given the intelligence of Marty Byrde and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney), if they keep going at this pitch for much longer, they’re either going to be killed or put in jail. The alternative is to flatten out that pitch so that you don’t end up jumping the shark, but then you start stalling just for additional episodes and season.”
