The Academy Award and Emmy–nominated actress is set for a recurring guest star role in Peacock’s upcoming Queer as Folk. Fresh from her role as star in YellowjacketsShe will play the role of a single mom, who is more like a friend to her son than a parent.

Queer as FolkThis documentary explores the lives and transformations of New Orleans friends after tragedy. There is a drag queen (Fields), who is a fun-loving hedonist and the life of any party (Renfro), a charming and sympathetic sex worker (“Bhatt”), and a martini-soaked southern debutant with roots in the trailer park (Cattrall), so there will be something for everyone to relate to.
