Both Holmes and Wooten looked great for the gala. Holmes wore a long-sleeved, bright orange dress with black strappy heels. He also carried a small, black handbag. Wooten wore bright blue pants and a black shirt.

Wooten, who is a Grammy-nominated musician, was invited to present the evening’s honoree, David Byrne, with his award. Both worked on Broadway’s Record of the Week. American Utopia, Byrne’s hit show.
Wooten shouted at his girlfriend while he was doing press for the evening, saying: “I’m happy to have [Katie] here as my date.”After being introduced by mutual friends, Holmes and he have been together since April. A source told E! NewsThe relationship is “working well.”

Bobby Wooten III, Who Are You?
Wooten is a musician/composer who plays bass on Broadway. Moulin Rouge! The Musical. He also showed up at Coachella this year to play bass with Carly Rae Jepsen’s band and will join them again on tour this summer. Wooten is also an adjunct instructor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Holmes’ Dating History
Holmes was previously seeing Emilio Vitolo Jr., a chef, before she began dating Wooten. They dated for several months before breaking up. Holmes had dated Jamie Foxx between 2013 and 2019. Their relationship was shrouded by mystery and rumors. Holmes and Foxx dated from 2013 to 2019.
