Former American Idol Kenedi Anderson, the frontrunner is teasing new music just days after she pulled out of the competition she was most likely to win. Anderson announced her resignation just days ago. American Idol Season 20 “personal reasons,”The 17-year old singer who impressed the judges with her singing skills shared a TikTok video in which she sang a new song.

Anderson spoke to her fans in the video that she uploaded Wednesday, April 13. “here is the chorus of a song I wrote not too long ago,”As she sat down, she began to play on her piano. The Virginia native began singing the chorus. “I need to find, need to find something better than what I had, and with no strings attached. Don’t I deserve that? Something with no strings attached.”Anderson did not release the song in its entirety, and the TikTok video of Anderson has been removed. The first video to be reported by the Daily MailAnderson didn’t upload it to any of her other social media accounts. Anderson hasn’t yet commented on the clip. Some fans suggested that Anderson may have signed an album deal. Anderson has not commented on these rumors.

Anderson’s mysterious clip was uploaded just days later. American Idol exit. Ryan Seacrest, Idol host, told viewers shortly after the Monday episode on April 11, that he was leaving. “since we taped these shows in Hawaii earlier, Kenedi has decided to withdraw from our show for personal reasons,”Anderson herself confirmed Anderson’s departure via Instagram.

“For personal reasons, I’m unable to continue on American Idol. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know it’s necessary,”She wrote. “I’m so grateful to American Idol, the judges, the producers, the amazing contestants, and all the fans who have supported me. Thank you for giving me such an amazing opportunity to share my voice, chase my dreams, feel so much joy and happiness doing what I love, and make lifelong friends along the way.”

Fremantle Media spoke with a representative of the show producer PEOPLE In a statement “we are disappointed to see Kenedi leave, but we are excited to watch this celebratory 20th season unfold with the incredible talent vying to be the next American Idol.”Anderson’s departure has not been revealed. The teen was awarded one of the three platinum tickets she earned during her time in high school. Idol Audition was a hit with judges and viewers and she also won the competition’s top spot before her sudden departure.
