Kim Kardashian’s naked hands shocked fans who finally saw what they looked like.
The reality star is usually spotted covering her digits in gloves when she appears in public, but in a set of new pictures, she was seen getting out of a car in London baring her hands – reportedly revealing her long fight with psoriasis, a condition that can cause itchy, scaly, red patches.
Flare-ups can be severe and last up to a few months. They are especially noticeable in stressful situations.
Reddit users shared the following: “Her skin looks like paper!”And another: “Where are the gloves when you need’em?!”
A third point was made: “Hands tend to show age first, but she is also thin which lends itself to more visible blood vessels and tendons.”
A fourth quipped: “Doesn’t she have psoriasis? Topical corticosteroids can cause the skin to become thin and age quickly.”
SKIMS founder and CEO, SKIMS, has made it clear that she is battling psoriasis. It was something she first experienced in her 20s.
In an article for her sister Kourtney’s brand Poosh, Kim wrote: “When I was 25, I had my first psoriasis flare-up. I got a common cold, and since psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, this triggered it. It was all over my stomach and legs.”

She also added: “Luckily, in my apartment complex at the time, my neighbour was a dermatologist. I showed it to him, and he said to come into the office, and he would give me a shot of cortisone, and then hopefully, it would go away (since it was my first big outbreak). I did this, and my psoriasis completely went away for about five years.”
The 41-year-old explained that her psoriasis returned when she was in her early 30s.
In an interview with The New York Times, the star explained she has a nine-step cleansing routine that “Some might find this scary”.
As part of her routine, Kim cleansed, exfoliated, and patted her face with a combination of glow oil and face cream.
She said: “I always go down to my chest – down to my nipples — always down to nips.”
